FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: air cushion vehicle has aerostatic supports, each provided with intermediate attachment ring 8 dividing the space arranged between base 4 and flexible diaphragm 7 into two concentric chambers 9 and 10. Ring 8 is located outside diaphragm 7. Pneumatic duct has connections 14 and switch 12 to provide delivery of compressed air to one of connections. When vehicle is not loaded, higher pressure air is delivered into chamber 9 where air cushion is created whose area is less than that in chamber 10. With vehicle loaded, air is delivered into chamber 10. Each chamber is designed for special pressure in air cushion space which prevents undesirable unnecessary oscillations. EFFECT: enhanced operating properties and reliability of air cushion vehicle owing to provision of stability in travelling both with and without load. 2 dwg
