METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF HIGH-ACTIVITY RAFFINATE NITRATES Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract SU 1739784 A1

FIELD: processing water-tail solutions. SUBSTANCE: method involves diluting raffinate, removing molybdenum from it by sorption or prolonged heating, subsequent evaporation of diluted raffinate of high multiplicity factor and diluting still residue for producing concentrate of valuable fragmentary elements with a low content of nitric acid. Such treatment eliminates sedimentation and secondary salinization during subsequent processing of concentrate. EFFECT: higher efficiency of subsequent separation of valuable components, ruled-out accumulation of residues based on zirconium molybdate and nitrates of alkali-earth metals during evaporation without reflux feedback, and elimination of neutralization of still residue. 1 tbl
