FIELD: production of metallic hydrogen. SUBSTANCE: focused laser beam is directed into zone of interaction of deuterium and tritium taken in liquid state to increase efficiency of metallic hydrogen production and laser radiation is directed into zone of initial interaction of these liquids. Device has laser carrying objective lens, nozzle and cryogenic chamber with outlets. Pipeline is connected with cryogenic chamber. Working channel of pipeline is made in form of pipe separated by partition with end porous attachment. Outlet is made in form of Laval nozzle, and laser nozzle is secured to cryogenic chamber. In this case, symmetry axes of the latter intersect in zone of location of porous attachment. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 1 dwg
