FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for laser material processing under water, and can be used in machine building and in other sectors of the national economy. Device consists of a generator of laser irradiance, made with the ability to work in frequency mode, an optical element, a hydraulic chamber with a window for inputting a laser beam from the optical element, devices for liquid supply to a hydraulic chamber with an output for withdrawing a laser beam from the hydraulic chamber in a fluid jet and a system for creating and maintaining low pressure in the treatment area. Device for liquid supply is made in the form of a filter station, thermal stabilization and fluid injection into the hydraulic chamber, in the output of which a nozzle is installed. Between the hydraulic chamber and the laser processing site is a system for creating and maintaining low pressure in the treatment area, forming a closed circuit. System is made with the possibility of circulation of fluid flow through the nozzles, installed in pairs along its ends at the input for liquid supply from an external medium and output for withdrawing liquid from it.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of material processing using laser radiation in liquid media transparent to laser radiation in a wide range of pressure and temperature of the environment.
