FIELD: coal suspension production. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing brown coal with water and alkaline reagent which is selected to be rare earth metal or ammonium hydroxide in the proportion (0.5-1):2:0.1. The mixture is stirred in disintegrator at rotor revolution speed being 16-18 (16-18)·103 min-1.. The mixture is mechanically activated in cavitation mill at frequency 12-15 (12-15)·103 Hz. The suspension is treated in reactor at 50 90 C with its concurrently stirring during 15-60 min. The treated suspension is separated into the water phase and the end product containing 60-65% of solid phase. EFFECT: lowered costs; reduced power consumption. 2 cl, 2 tbl
