FIELD: testing engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has heat-insulating housing 1 wherein control vessel 3 is received. The vessel is connected with one of the spaces of differential manometer 4. The second space of differential manometer 4 is connected with the article to be tested. If non-tightness exists, differential manometer 4 generates electric signal corresponding to pressure drop between the testing vessel and article. The signal is fed to block 8 for processing results. Heat insulation 2 of testing vessel 1 is made with discontinuities of controlled area for testing tightness of objects with various heat characteristics. Area of discontinuities is controlled by rotating the gate using a handle. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities. 3 dwg
