SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of sustaining metal level in ladle no less than 850 mm and temperature by 35-40C higher than liquidus temperature; continuously drawing ingots out of mold; continuously feeding cooling agent onto ingot surface in zone for secondary cooling separated by three subzones; in first subzone using for cooling water fed with flowrate 0.06-0,11 l/metal kg; in second and third subzones using water-air mixture for cooling; maintaining constant amplitude of mold rocking, determining frequency N (cycle/min) of reciprocation rocking of mold according to formula: N=2400xV, where V - casting speed with optimal value 0,30-0.40 m/min.
