SUBSTANCE: ferrite insert of power limiter is built up of separate rectangular prisms made of material having different width of spin-wave line, coaxially joined together and with matching bevels in appropriate manner so that side edges of prisms and longitudinal axis of rectangular waveguide form angle of +-(30-60 deg. ) in H-plane; prism length in wave propagation direction is a multiple of half the ferrite wavelength and width of spin-wave line of prism material reduces in wave propagation direction. EFFECT: improved average input power and dynamic range of ferrite power limiter. 2 dwg
