FIELD: petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: oil fractions are affected by hydrotreatment at 370-410 C and pressure 3-8 MPa, volume rate of feeding of origin material being 0.5-1.5 0,5-1,5-1. The process is carried out in the presence of catalyst which contains (%): nickel oxide 4.0-6.0, tungsten oxide 10.0-14.0, pentasil 36.5-50.4, magnesium-alumosilicate 4.2-12.2 and pseudobelite. EFFECT: increases yield and quality of residual oils. 1 tbl
