FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the Indian ink comprises (wt %): 3-14.5 pigment; 4.1-12.5 butadiene-styrene copolymer-based latex; 0.3-1.0 disperser; 0.003-0.02 alkyltrimethyl ammonium chloride; 0.9-3.8 glycerol; 3.0-12.0 urea; 0.1-0.3 25 % ammonia; and the water balance. The Indian ink may comprise isopropyl alcohol in amount from 0.1 to 1.5 wt %. The hag improved runoff from draftsman's instruments, wetting of the receiving surface and improved resistance to mechanical affects. The drying time is from 2.5 to 3 minutes.
