FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: power supply has transformer, first, second, third, and fourth thyristors, first, second, third, and fourth monitoring units, inductive load, fault signal shaping unit, first and second control unit. Each monitoring unit has series-connected pulse shaper, electric isolation circuit, frequency detector. Detector output functions as monitoring unit output. First and second pulse shaper inputs function as first and second inputs of monitoring unit. Thyristors are interconnected in series, Thyristors are connected to starting lead of transformer secondary winding and also to finishing lead of transformer secondary winding. Load is connected between center tap of transformer secondary winding and interconnected cathodes of second and fourth thyristors. Anodes of first and third thyristors are connected to first inputs of first and third monitoring units and their cathodes, to second inputs. Anodes of second and fourth thyristors are connected to first inputs of second and fourth monitoring units and their cathodes, to second inputs. First and second outputs of first control unit are connected to gate electrodes of first and third thyristors; first and second outputs of second unit are connected to gate electrodes of second and fourth thyristors. Outputs of monitoring units are connected to inputs of control unit. EFFECT: improved operating reliability due to detection of latent defects of devices. 8 dwg
