FIELD: aeronautical engineering; devices for securing engine to aircraft wing. SUBSTANCE: engine pylon has load-bearing part 1 secured on wing 2, tail section 3 also secured on wing 2 and side covers 4 mounted between them; on one side, covers 4 are secured on load-bearing part 1 and on other side they are pressed to stops of tail section 3 by means of hold-downs fitted on inner surfaces of covers 4. Secured on load-bearing part 1 is engine 9. Each cover 4 may consist of one or several parts 1. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and reduced drag. 2 cl, 4 dwg
