FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: Vaseline is produced by hydrogenation of deasphalizate (coking capacity is 0.3-0.5 wt.-%) and gatch mixture containing 15-20 wt. -% oil and taken at the mass ratio (1:)-(0.8:1) followed by treatment of prepared hydrogenizate with whitening soil and blowing with inert gas. Hydrogenation is carried out in the presence of alumino-cobalt-molybdenum catalyst at 300-320 C, under pressure 4-5 MPa, volume rate 0,8-1,0 h-1, hydrogen consumption 300-1000 l/l raw. EFFECT: improved method of production.
