FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: method for making covering of open sports grounds consists in that grass seeds are sowed on lower layer of base and upper layer of covering is distributed on lower layer. Upper layer of covering is treated with polyethyl hydrosiloxane with concentration of 1-5% and liquid-ground ratio of 1:3 and height of upper layer of covering from 1 to 3 cm. EFFECT: higher service properties due to increased filtration and reduced water yielding capacity.
