FIELD: construction of sportive grounds. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying bed; providing drainage system and forming covering; using water-tight synthetic plates with cells as artificial covering; embedding sod-forming grass seeds in plate cells and growing herbage of these seeds; arranging plates in end-to-end pattern and securing so as to define continuous covering. Method allows natural and artificial materials to be used as covering for sportive grounds.
