FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: blanks of unified elements are machined with stock for final working. Teeth are formed. Subsequent operations are carried out on special. Raster magnetic topology of former of magnetic fluxes fabricated in the form of teeth which width and pitch correspond to width and pitch of elements is arranged on working surface of body of device. Element is laid on working surface with its tooth surface with positive stop. Magnetic flux having possibility of closing through stator element is formed. "Floating" of element on air cushion is obtained with the use of compressed air. Owing to identity of raster magnetic topology of device and to tooth surface of element the latter is based over magnetic topology of teeth when supply of compressed air is discontinued. Device with fixed element is mounted on baseplate of machine and final working of faces of element is performed. EFFECT: enhanced productivity, improved precision of teeth matching. 2 cl, 5 dwg
