FIELD: electrical engineering; electromagnetic relief of supports and magnetic hangers. SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic relief device of radial bearings contains stator in form of magnetic circuit with field winding and cylindrical working surface. Stator is arranged over rotor in form of ferromagnetic ring installed on shaft. Said ring is provided with teeth on surface pointed to working surface of stator which has three poles. Teeth with pitch coinciding with pitch of rotor teeth are found on working surfaces of said poles of stator. Teeth on side poles of stator are displaced relative to each other through half of tooth pitch. Field winding is arranged on middle pole of stator, and generator windings are located on side poles. They are arranged in series opposite and connected to input of rectifier. Output of rectifier is connected to field winding. Device provides relief of radial support from gravity force irrespective of external power sources with possibility of operation in explosing hazard and aggressive atmospheres.
