FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer has housing 1 with face walls, internal pipe 2, and branch pipes 3 and 4. The housing and pipe are triangle in cross-section. The internal pipe is provided with plug 5 from the side of inlet branch pipes 3 and lateral ribs 9. The length of the internal pipe is less than the length of housing 1. The internal pipe is mounted coaxially and with a spaced relation to the inner side of the middle part of housing 1 and inlet and outlet chambers 8 in the zone of the face walls. Lateral ribs are arranged in the space and are in length equal to the length of sides 6 of pipe 2 and in height equal to the width of the space. The ribs on adjacent sides 6 of pipe 2 are shifted relatively each other in the axial direction. The step between ribs 9 is varied and increases in the direction of outlet branch pipe 4. Ribs 9 are inclined to the longitudinal axis and point in the same direction. Plug 5 is made as a pyramid. The base of the pyramid is coupled with the face of internal pipe 2 over periphery of respective sides 6. Exhaust gases enters chamber 7 through branch pipe 3. Plug 5 separate the flow into the three flows and directs the flows in the space between housing 1 and pipe 2 through passageways 10 and longitudinal passageways 11.
