FIELD: optical astronomy. SUBSTANCE: telescope mirror is irradiated by visual range radiation from the center of curvature of the mirror. Thermal radiation of the mirror is filtered for spectrum. Image of the mirror is formed in IR range and transformed into visual image. Quality of optical surface is judged from the image formed. EFFECT: improved precision. 1 dwg
