FIELD: astronomy; certification of telescope under atmospheric conditions of its operation. SUBSTANCE: radiation from point source 1 is allowed to pass through turbulent atmosphere 2 onto telescope 3 to be certified and telescope 5. Radiation from the telescopes is summed in optical system 7, filtered by filter 8 and focused by lens 9. N images of source 1 are formed with a short exposure on N photoplates 10. Each of photoplates 10 is subject to a parallel coherent radiation beam. The transmitted beam is focused by a lens and its hologram is formed. The hologram is subject to a parallel beam and a hologram of the beam is formed. An aberration distortion map is restored for the telescope being certified. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 dwg
