FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly sprinkling means for spraying water in controllable space during fire extinguishment.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler comprises body with valve, support, levers mounted in support and adapted to retain valve, and heat-sensitive member. Valve has two diametrically opposite inclined slots formed from support side. Each slot is inclined from sprinkler axis to periphery thereof. Slots are divided by central plate to which heat-sensitive member is symmetrically secured so that heat-sensitive member envelops the plate and is inserted in corresponding valve slots. Each lever has roller connected to one end thereof and movably inserted in corresponding valve slot. Each roller is enclosed with heat-sensitive member. Another lever end is pivotally installed in corresponding groove formed on the support circumference facing valve.
EFFECT: increased reliability and speed of sprinkler response.
