FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly sprinkling means for spraying water in controllable space during fire extinguishment.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler comprises body with bails, deflector, sealing member for closing body orifice, glass tube having narrowed part with reduced diameter and inserted between lower and upper supports. Sprinkler also has glass tube breaking means formed as wire cut of springing material. Wire cut envelops glass tube in narrowed part and fixed by heat-sensitive member in center thereof. Heat-sensitive member is made as fusible thread. Wire cut ends are arranged in corresponding body bail orifices so that the ends may perform axial movement inside the orifices. The orifices are displaced for distance equal to amount of eccentricity from sprinkler axis. The distance is equal or more than narrowed part diameter.
EFFECT: increased operational efficiency.
