FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to a method for imparting inflammability to commercial rubbers, in particular to divinyl-based polyisoprene rubbers. Synthetic rubbers are manufactured via solution or aqueous dispersion copolymerization of conjugated dienes and unsaturated compounds at 30-80°C in presence of free radical initiators, said unsaturated compounds being derivatives of methylphosphonic acid depicted by general formula: CH3-P(=O)R-OCH2CH2O-C(=O)-C(OH)=CH2, where R represents hydroxyl. Phenyl, alkoxy or phenoxy group.
EFFECT: enabled manufacture of inflammable curable rubbers manifesting high elastic properties.
