FIELD: experimental facilities designed for investigation on elastic dynamically similar models of flight vehicles of the influence of the structural flexibility of winged vehicles on the characteristics of their longitudinal controllability in a "free" flight of models in aerodynamic tunnels.
SUBSTANCE: the device has a rigid strut with a hinged assembly, which passes ahead of the aerodynamic center normally to the model plane of symmetry. Besides, the hinged assembly has a fork linked with the model spar and the strut. The fork is linked with the mode spar by a lateral axle, and with the strut-by means of strain gauged elastic components, four thin bands, four rods and a plate. The bands are positioned behind the hinge axis in parallel with the axis of the aerodynamic tunnel. The rods are positioned in parallel with the tunnel lateral axis on the side surface of the fork, and the plates are positioned in the vertical plane passing through the hinge axis.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of measurement of force and torques.
