FIELD: gyroscope engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gyroscope comprises rotor, driving shaft, gimbal ring, and two pairs of torsions that connect the gimbal ring with the driving shaft and rotor. The gyroscope also has the additional gimbal ring connected with the rotor and driving shaft through two pairs of additional torsions. The axles of the torsions that connect the gimbal rings with the driving shaft and the axles of torsions that connect the gimbal ring with the rotor are arranged in the plane of rotation and are mutually perpendicular.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
