FIELD: parachute technique; pyrotechnic devices for separation of cargo from parachute system after landing or alighting on water.
SUBSTANCE: proposed lock is used for separation of parachute system from fighting vehicle or similar equipment. Proposed lock has body with cover, pin located inside body and engageable with separable member, shock absorber, membrane and pyrotechnic device. Membrane is mounted between body cover and shock absorber. Pin is provided with striker which is made in form of rod whose length is no more than 0.3 of length of striker and diameter is no less than 1.2 of striker rod diameter.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability at alighting on water.
