Semiconductor diode operates in irreversible thermo-electric penetration mode, finished by creation of current-conductive link shorting electrodes of device. Diodes of that type are called diodes with transformable structure.
EFFECT: possible extensive delay of front edge of powerful impulse, simplified design.
