FIELD: delay elements, possible use for temporary delay of electric signal.

SUBSTANCE: as single use delay element, semiconductor diode, installed in reverse direction, is used. Semiconductor diode operates in irreversible thermo-electric penetration mode, finished by creation of current-conductive link shorting electrodes of device. Diodes of that type are called diodes with transformable structure.

EFFECT: possible extensive delay of front edge of powerful impulse, simplified design.
