FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic log comprises transmitting track, receiving-radiating antenna, receiving track with circuits for separation of Doppler shift of echo-signal frequencies in separate channels by units of correction generation for spectrum shift, adders and measuring circuit. Circuit for separation of Doppler shift of frequency is connected between outlet of every appropriate pair of receiving track channels and multiplier. One of multiplier inlets is connected to outlet of Doppler frequency shift separation circuit. The second inlet is connected to detector of vessel rocking angles. Outlet of multiplier is connected to one of adder inlets.
EFFECT: compensation of log systematic error specified by simultaneous vertical displacement of vessel and angular rocking.
