FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket engines operating on low-smoke solid propellant and intended for small-scale missiles controlled under conditions of direct optical visibility. Solid propellant rocket engine comprises the combustion chamber with nozzle unit, powder channel bomb of low-smoke composition, pyrotechnical igniter arranged at the side of the nozzle unit, coaxially to the bomb channel, and mixed solid propellant bomb. Mixed solid propellant bomb is arranged in the expanding part of channel near engine bottom.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for stable burning of powder channel bomb.
