SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes an echo box, a radar receiver and transmitter, a reference voltage generation unit connected to a comparator, the second input of which is connected to the output of the receiver, and series-connected with each other and with the setting input of the transmitter a clock-pulse delay compensator, a front former, a phase modulator, a selector, a pulse switch with a pulse generator, a processing and display unit, the second input of which is connected to the output of the selector, the third input is connected to the setting input of the transmitter and the output is connected to the second input of the phase modulator, the third input of which is connected through a second front former to the output of the comparator; the apparatus also includes series-connected two directional couplers and microwave switch, the control input of which is connected to the output of the processing and display unit, and signal outputs of the microwave switch are connected to the directional couplers, connected between the echo box and the radar receiver and transmitter.
