FIELD: physics, navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar engineering. The result is achieved due to that the receiver includes series-connected antenna, receiving-amplifying path and decoder, as well as an interrogation link encoder, the first output of which is connected through a control stimulus generator to the antenna. The receiver also includes a controlled delay unit and a follower, wherein the controlled delay unit is connected between the output of the receiving-amplifying path and the input of the decoder, the output of which is connected to the second input of the controlled delay unit through the follower, the second input of which is connected to the second output of the interrogation link encoder.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining range to a transponder beacon.
