FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direction finding means of optical range and can be used for detection on the background of the surrounding thermal environment more bright small-size objects and determining coordinates thereof. Thermal imager comprises input lens (1), scanning mirror (2) with reduction gear (3) and actuating motor (4), multi-element receiver (5) of radiant energy with units (9) of supply, a group of electronic switches (12), delay line (10, 11), amplifier (13), RCD (14), synchroniser (17). Receiver (5) of radiant energy is optically interfaced with input lens (1) and scanning mirror (2). Amplifier output (13) is connected to the input of the RCD (14), other inputs are connected to outputs of synchronizer (17). Two other output of synchronizer (17) are connected to actuating motor (4) and to inputs of power supply units (9). Outputs of units (9) connected to inputs of the elements of receiver (5) of radiant energy. Outputs of N-1 delay lines (10, 11) are connected to signal inputs of the corresponding N-1 switches (12), the outputs of N-1 switches (12) are connected to amplifier input (13). Besides, in thermal imaging device includes the first and second additional group of electronic switches (7, 8), group of capacitance (6), two additional delay line (15, 16). Potential leads of capacitive accumulators (6), signal inputs of the first and second additional groups of electronic switches (7, 8) are connected to signal outputs of appropriate elements of receiver (5) of radiant energy. Other leads of capacitive accumulators (6) and outputs of the first group of additional electronic switches (7) are connected to the common ground bus. Control inputs of the first additional group of electronic switches (7) are connected to output of the first additional delay line (15). Other output of the first additional delay line (15) is connected to the output of synchronizer (17), one of the outputs of which is connected to the input of the second additional delay line (16). Output of the second additional delay line (16) is connected to inputs of the second N-1 delay lines (11) and control inputs of the additional group of electronic switches (8). Signal outputs of the second additional group of electronic switches (8) are connected to inputs of the corresponding N-1 delay lines (11). Signal output of the first element of receiver (5) of radiant energy through the first electronic key (8) and the first electronic key (12) is connected to amplifier input (13). Control input of the first electronic switch unit (12) is connected to the output of the second additional delay line (16).
EFFECT: high sensitivity of the thermal imager.
