FIELD: catalyst production. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparing catalyst on the basis of ion-exchange resins constituting sulfonated mixture of styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer with thermoplastic polymer material (polyethylene or polypropylene) consisting in mixing components with water, heating mixture to melting temperature of thermoplastic polymer material, extruding softened material at elevated temperature of extruder heating cylinder and shaping head, and treating shaped material with chlorosulfonic acid. Method is distinguished with that material is extruded at temperature of shaping head 135-165 C for high-pressure polyethylene, 150-180 C for low-pressure polyethylene, and 190-225 C for polypropylene, whereas temperature of heating cylinder is by 20-10 C lower than that of shaping head. EFFECT: increased catalyst activity and improved its physico-mechanical properties.
