FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: diaphragm has two plates with a gap between them and a wedge-shaped cross-section on the side of the gap between them profiled coupled with braces, a unit for regulating a width of the gap including stop mounted on the faces of the plates and ring cable tensioned between axes one of which is made in the form of a rotating roller, the plates being reciprocally mounted with the aid of the gap width regulating unit. The profile of the guides is made Z-shaped, the stops being mounted in longitudinal slots. The gap width regulating unit has springs for coupling the stops. One of the plates is coupled with a lever movably mounted in one of the guides with the aid of a length-controlled rod and coupled with movable conjugating a bar of diagnostic X-ray apparatus with the aid of a second rod.
