FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: planetary reduction gear 1 is single-stage reduction gear; crown gear 7 of reduction gear 1 is mounted in housing for unilateral rotation and is linked with housing by means of clutch 10. One propeller 3 is connected with carrier 8 and other propeller 4 is secured on engine crankshaft 2; this propeller has lesser diameter. Clutch 10 is made in form of overrunning clutch or in form of spring-loaded ratchet wheels or in form of friction clutch and is provided with control mechanism. Engine shaft may be provided with flywheel; propeller 4 may perform function of flywheel. Torque from crankshaft 2 is transmitted to propeller 3 through sun gear 6, satellites 9 and carriers 8 with crown gear 7 immovable; gear 7 is secured in housing by means of clutch 10. Propeller 4 is rigidly secured on crankshaft 2 and rotates in one direction with propeller 3. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of power plant and enhanced reliability of reduction gear. 12 cl, 6 dwg
