SUBSTANCE: method involves determining intra-grain voids in mineral components - sand, cement - by calculations, conducting sieve analysis of mineral components, calculating volume coefficients of grain separation on the basis of sieve analysis, determining consumption of components per 1 m3 of concrete mix and taking in account the obtained data, characterized in that, in order to simplify designing and optimize density of concrete mix, the consumption of sand, cement and water per 1 m3 of concrete mix is calculated by the formulas submitted in the description. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
