FIELD: manufacture of sliding friction bearings. SUBSTANCE: antifriction material comprises, % : 2-7 of filler in the form of carbon clusters, the balance being polytetrafluoroethylene. Carbon clusters are condensed products of detonation of explosives with a negative oxygen balance. Properties of material: modulus of elasticity in compression, 4.9+0.2 MPa; wear resistance on wear crater area, 5.9-18.2 mm. Test conditions on friction tester CMT-1: load, 3.75 kg; friction path, 850 m; sliding velocity, 0.78 m/s. Counterbody, roller of X12M steel. Friction coefficient, 0.21. EFFECT: improved characteristics. 1 tbl
