FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric materials science and is designed for use in mechanical engineering, in particular in compressor engineering and vacuum mechanical engineering to manufacture sealing articles for static and mobile sealants. Composition comprising polytetrafluoroethylene and carbon-containing filler further contains nano-dispersed modifier selected from group consisting of sodium titanate, ultradispersed ceramics, and carbon-containing detonation synthesis product, and also fluorine-containing oligomer.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of composite, increased strength, reduced imperfection, and reduced coefficient of friction when operated without lubricant.
