FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer wear-resistant material for tribotechnical purposes, used in high load and sliding speed conditions, particularly for making components of heavily loaded friction assemblies of machines and mechanisms. The polymer material contains polytetrafluoroethylene and carbon filler - thermal expanded graphite. Components are in the following ratio, wt %: thermal expanded graphite (TEG) 5.0-15.0, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) - the balance.
EFFECT: use of the invention increases longevity and operating capacity of friction assemblies due to high wear-resistance and low frictional coefficient, determined by the structure of the composite material.
