FIELD: acetylene production. SUBSTANCE: device has two absorbers, two desorbers, gas compressor, heat exchanges and liquid pumps. Cooled pyrolysis gases are fed consequently into the first absorber, compressor and into second absorber. Portion of N-methylpyrrolidone ( as a solvent ) exhausted of the second absorber together with water vapor is fed into the first absorber. Regenerated solvent is fed into the second absorber, then it is divided in two streams. The first one is fed into the first absorber to purify gases, other stream is fed into the first absorber for regeneration. From the first absorber solvent is fed to the second one. Acetylene desorbed in the upper area of the first absorber and water vapor are fed into lower area of the absorber. The second desorbed stream containing acetylene and its homologues is fed into vacuum pump. Acetylene, returnable gas and regenerated solvent are separately removed of the first desorber. Pyrolysis gases purification degree against diacetylene, vinylacetylene and methylacetylene is 75% , up to 60% and up to 50% respectively. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 1 dwg
