FIELD: metal pressure working. SUBSTANCE: upset forging method for production of products envisages upset forging of billets placed in a stack between upsetting plates which have cavities of similar or different width. Selective deformation by height is carried on for each position, with constant action of load upon the whole stack. To realize the method, the device is provided with flexible and rigid members mounted on each upsetting position. The flexible members exceed the billets height and the total product height produced out of these billets. The rigid elements have the height equal to the product fabric thickness and are adjustable by height by means of changeable limiters. EFFECT: improved method of production. 2 cl, 8 dwg
