FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: initial heated stock is placed into the first die, in which one puncheon step is used to settle and pierce it. At the same time the formation of the central ledge is provided. Then the produced semi-finished product is placed into another die. In this die they simultaneously perform the reverse extrusion of the semi-finished product with the production of the cylindrical part and direct extrusion of the central ledge. The semi-finished product is installed into the third die, where upset forging is carried out with free leakage of metal in the radial direction relative to the axis of the die.
EFFECT: reduced forces of deformation in manufacturing of a forged piece, eliminated possibility of metal leakage in a gap between the matrix and the puncheon.
