FIELD: railway transport; brake systems of high-speed trains. SUBSTANCE: with emergency brake applied, compressed air 2 from reservoir 1 passes through branch pipe 11, electric air distributor 10 and branch pipe 12 into upper part of fluid reservoir 8. This is provided by supplying electric power along wires 39 to electric air distributor 10 and electrohydraulic distributor 14. Fluid 9 under pressure is delivered through branch pipe 13, electrohydraulic distributor 14, branch pipe 15, flexible reinforced rubber sleeve 18, union 16 and working channel 29 into inner working space 26 of working chamber 17. Owing to the fact that working channel 29 is arranged tangentially to working space 26, fluid gets swirled and, through hole 27, passes into nozzle 28 wherefrom it is discharged in strong jet hitting the railway bed with heavy force. EFFECT: enhanced safety and reliability at emergency braking, decreased braking distance. 2 cl, 3 dwg
