FIELD: railway transport; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed detachable coupling flexible pipe has rubberized cloth hoses. Coupling head with rivets and air passing hole with seal is installed on one end of each hose. Other opposite end is provided with tip secured, same as head, by means of clamp with bolt and nut. Boss is found on coupling head. Three-step cylindrical hole made in one of bosses is connected by its upper part through inclined hole with inner space of coupling head. Three-step hole is provided with movable straight-travel rod with piston and stop on one end and loaded by pull-back spring. Rod is closed by threaded nut-stopper with gasket. Opposite part of rod has rounded-off entry end which gets into coaxial hole of boss of mating coupling head. Pneumomechanical lock of coupling pipes is thus provided. EFFECT: prevention of disconnection of brake pipes in presence of internal compressed air pressure, improved safety of maintenancemen. 4 dwg
