FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: brake shoe has a housing with stiffening ribs and lugs with through coaxial holes at one side, and vertical conical slot at other side. Brake lining in the form of ring sector gets into slot, being fixed by holder and fasteners. Novelty is that housing at side of stiffening ribs is furnished with bosses with through holes. Bosses are arranged along larger radius of brake lining. L-shaped heat tubes in the form of thermosiphons are rigidly secured in bosses. Outer condensing free ends of heat tubes are located vertically along axes of through coaxial holes of housing lugs. EFFECT: increased service life of brake linings and reliability of brake shoes. 4 dwg
