SUBSTANCE: centrifugal speed governor has coupling built up of fixed half-coupling 1 rigidly linked with housing and movable half- coupling 3 with thrust bearing 5 mounted for displacement along axis of drive shaft 6. Movable half-coupling 3 is engageable with fixed half-coupling 1 in one position and with stops 10 of heavy weights 9 through thrust bearing 5. EFFECT: provision for diesel-engine change-over from three-speed to all-speed governing and vice versa, as desired, depending on operating conditions. 4 dwg
