FIELD: vehicle power systems. SUBSTANCE: recuperator has a pneumatic and hydraulic accumulator and a motor kinematically connected to the pneumatic and hydraulic accumulator, a generator and a hydraulic power converter connected to the pneumatic and hydraulic accumulator. The pneumatic and hydraulic accumulator is made from two separate interconnected parts in the form of a compressed air-filled bellow-accumulator and a hydraulic cylinder kinematically connected to the hydraulic power converter. The energy is accumulated through transfer of the cargo potential energy when it moves. The gas preliminary compressed to pressure Pн is compressed in the bellow-accumulator to pressure which is transferred to the fluid through a hydraulic cylinder. The fluid moves in the generator turbine positioned in a working tank with polished walls. The fluid is set in rotation through a generator impeller by switching the motor on.
