METHOD FOR DETERMINING INDIVIDUAL SENSITIVITY TO HEMOSORPTION IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking 1-2 drops of capillary blood, determining resistance (low, weak, medium and high) of erythrocytes to acid hemolysis, determining the resistance factor of erythrocyte membranes in the initial state and on the first day after extracorporeal detoxicatioon on the basis of relation of high and medium resistance indices to weak and low resistance indices. If on the first day after the procedure the resistance index grows to 150% and over above the initial level, the result of efferent therapy is considered effective. For determining the further curative tactics the resistance index is also determined on the third-fifth day after the procedure. If by this time said index drops to 125% and lower from the initial level, one more procedure is indicated. The invention simplifies and reduces the duration of examination, improves informativeness of the method for estimating the efferent effect on the organism which provides a pathogenetic substantiation of using the extracorporeal detoxication of blood into the complex of treating the ischemic heart disease and indications for repeated procedures . EFFECT: higher standard and reduced duration of treatment of hospital patients.
