Reagent 1: N-carboxyanhydride or N-thiocarboxyanhydride of the general formula . Reagent 2: R″-O-C(=O)-X - O-C(= O)-X, where X - halide. Process is carried out in inert solvent under anhydrous conditions, in the presence of tertiary amine, for example, N-methylmorpholine. The end product is isolated by crystallization. Synthesized compounds are used in peptide chemistry, for synthesis of peptide and protein chains. They show high reaction capability and do not contain undesirable by-side products.
