FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for gas and oil industries. Invention can be used for remote control over process of blast perforation of casing strings in wells at great depth. Elements magnetized in advance are placed in perforator opposite to shaped charges. Then electromagnetic pulses generated by action of cumulative jets on magnetized elements placed into perforator are registered. Shells of shaped charges magnetized beforehand or permanent magnets or magnetic plugs put into holes for cumulative jets are used as magnetized materials. Registration magnetic coils are positioned coaxially with magnetized elements. Number of perforated holes in casing string is found by number of registered electromagnetic pulses.
